Can the Dexter Brakes 23-468-469 be Used on a Salt Water Trailer?

The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 brakes can definitely be used on a trailer that will be submerged in salt water. However, it is a very good idea to unplug the trailer before doing this. Also, it is a good idea to hose the brakes down with fresh water, while the trailer is unplugged again, to clean the salt off.
