When Replacing RV Steps with Lippert SolidSteps Do Number of Steps Change

Question:

When replacing your factory steps with the fold up ones, ours have 3 steps, do you purchase the 3 steps or can you go with 4? Asking because sometimes we have to use an extra step stool because the steps are sometimes too far away from the ground.

It really just depends on the height of the doorway measured from the ground to the threshold. That's the info needed to pick out a SolidStep like the part # LC791572 that you referenced. This is a triple step that fits entry height range of 27-36 inches.

A similar 4 step model would be the part # LC791574 which fits a height range of 35-44 inch.
