Just purchased this camera from you and it did not come paired!! Tried pairing ....no luck Can someone walk me through it or should I return it

I have attached the pairing instructions for the Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera part # Rvs-83112 below. Please note, you must first install a 9 volt battery not provided into the camera in order for the system to work properly.
1 )Turn on camera (see step 2 above)
2)Hold power button on camera for 6 seconds until Led flashes Blue. (camera is now in pair mode for 1 0 seconds)
3)Turn on monitor (see step 3 above)
4)Push the pair button on monitor until PAIR OK is displayed
5)Restart monitor (step 3) System is now PAIRED
