How Can I Extend My Hook Up Point Further Back Without Using a SuperTruss Hitch
Question:
I have a 2001 Chevy 3500 Dually with a truck camper and a 6000lb boat. The truck camper skirt extends about 8inch past the trucks trailer hitch receiver. I only need to move my trailer back about 6inch to have full maneuverability with the camper on the truck. I also need the ball ped about 4inch down. Is there an option to extend my setup without spending over $1000 on a Supertruss hitch? I cant seem to find a simple product like an extended hitch that meets my criteria.

Something like the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 12" Long # 4285 is a route you could go. This Sturdy steel ball mount with solid shank measures 12" from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole which is going to extend the distance past your bumper. It also has a 4" drop which will take care of the 4" down you said you needed.
If you need a 2" hitch ball we have the 2" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank # C69FR.
or
If you need a 2-5/16" hitch ball we have the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-3/4" Long Shank # 19286.
Pin and Clip for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - 5/8" Diameter # PC3 will fit to keep your ball mount in the hitch.
