Comparing the Bargman 7-Way RV-Style Connector to Hopkins 7-Way Trailer Wire Connector

I need to replace the trailer side cable on my RV. A 25foot Sportsman travel trailer. I tow with a 2001 Ford E350. I have a couple questions. 1. What is the difference between this heavy duty cable and the standard Bargman item 50-67-005 cable? 2. Do the 2 blade contacts make more consistent/better connection that the 1 blade connector such as the Hopkins?

The only difference between the Bargman # 50-67-005 and # 54006-059 is the insulation. The # 54006-059 has heavy silicon insulation that is rated for use in temperatures as low as -67 F.

As for the connection on the Bargman vs. the Hopkins # HM20048 it is going to provide the same connection, there is no real difference aside from the style. The only difference you will find overall is that the Hopkins has a length of 11' while the two Bargman connectors have a length of 10'.

I have attached some review videos of the different connectors for your reference.
