Can the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent be Installed in a 1 Inch Thick Roof

Question:

I am looking into fitting this or a similar roof vent to my trailer. The trailer is a Haulmark which I am converting to be a camper. With the insulation I have fitted the roof is just a shade less than an inch thick. Can I mount this fan to this thin roof? I have to admit I bought one at an RV dealer and had to return it as it was made for a roof about three inches thick. I see separate garnishes are available but these would appear, from the available views, to be for thicker roofs not thinner.

After inspecting roof vent # V2094SP-30 and the included bezel, I have come to the conclusion that you would just need to trim 13/16 of an inch off the bezel on the end that sticks into the vent. This should allow you to flush mount the vent and bezel in your 1 inch thick roof.

I also recommend installation kit # 344270KITW which comes with the hardware, tape, and sealant needed for installation.
