We do have the correct Gen-Y Torsion shank for your trailer with a GVWR of just about 10,000 lbs, though the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # GY54FR you mentioned is for loaded tongue weights between 450 lbs and 1,100 lbs, which you are very likely to exceed (I do assume the 850 lbs is the dry tongue weight).
Because loaded tongue weight is generally in the 12 to 13 percent range of your GVWR, it's more likely your tongue weight will be in the 1,200 to 1,300 lb range, and for that the correct Gen-Y Torsion shank is the following part:
- Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1202
This shank is also a fit for a 2 inch hitch and has the same 6-1/2" maximum rise or drop, but is designed for loaded tongue weights between 1,000 lbs and 1,700 lbs, so it will be perfect for your application.
This shank does come with a pin and clip but I do highly recommend adding a hitch lock for security, the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches # 34061071-D.
