Can I use 10W-30 4cycle motor oil or do I use 10W-30 automotive oil? I found notes in the manual to use automotive oil. For the 6,000-Watt Portable RV Inverter Generator 333-0003-2-0007, you will need to use standard 10W-30 automotive oil.
However, it is important to note that there is different recommended oil viscosity if you are going into different temperatures for an extended amount of time. I went ahead and attached the preferred oil types for different temperatures in a chart to this answer.
