Recommended Storage Solution for Walls of Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Why should I buy E track or X track? my trailer has nothing and I need hooks all over the place. What your suggestion? To attached the X track should I place a board against to the wall frame? Thanks

If you're looking for wall storage, then the CargoSmart X-Track Trailer Shelf Bundle - Matte Black - Steel - 667 lbs - 5' Long # 3481788-T would be the correct solution and it will give you the ability to hang some hooks; if you can locate the studs in your trailer wall then you can attach the X-track directly to those. If you're unable to locate the wall studs then I do recommend using boards to provide a sturdier mounting spot. I definitely prefer the X-tracks for wall applications since they're a bit more versatile in how the hooks can be used.
If you need to secure anything to the floor, then an E-track system like the etrailer Horizontal E-Track - Black Powder Coated Steel - 2,000 lbs - 94" Long - Qty 4 # e42VR is the best way to go since the E-tracks are a little bit less susceptible to damaging; this is important since they might get rolled over with car tires or other heavy items and the slots won't damage easily.
