For your 2011 Mini Cooper convertible I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1307. It has removable arms that provide a clean and unobtrusive look when not in use.

If you don't already have a tow bar, tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables then I have the following recommendations:

Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380. This tow bar features a non-binding design which makes it easy to unhook the tow bar on any terrain while the swivel function makes it easy to connect, even on unlevel ground.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This diode Kit allows you to use your Mini Cooper's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. The included 4-Pole flat loop will connect your RV to your Mini Cooper.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This braking system offers intense, emergency braking or steady, smooth braking in a single portable system. Easily switch between proportional or full braking with the remote from your RV. The included charge line kit will prevent your battery from draining while towing as well.

Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design helps prevent the cables from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

Since your Mini sits low to the ground you'll most likely need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level. I've attached our help guide article to walk you through the process of measuring to find the correct drop for your needs.
