Do You Carry Mounts to Attach a Roof Top Basket to My Yakima Round Bars on My 1999 Jeep Cherokee?

On my Jeep Cherokee XJ I have Yakima round crossbars w/ towers. I am looking for any mounts that will allow me to mount a flat roof rack to these crossbars. Heres the rack Im considering: EAG 2" Tubular Flat Roof Rack Assembled Cargo Carrier Fit I am also considering the Smittybilt Defender Roof Rack 45555. Both are flat racks, but the available mounts are for factory equipment. Do you guys have anything that will adapt these racks to my aftermarket crossbars?

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, we do not carry any mounting brackets that are confirmed to work with your EAG rack or your Smittybilt Defender rack because we do not sell those brands. We do carry brackets like the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590 but they are not confirmed to fit other brands of racks.

However, for a great alternative that will definitely fit your Yakima RoundBars - 58" # Y00409 on your 1999 Jeep Cherokee, I recommend the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 60" Long x 54" Wide # Y05045-39. The LockNLoad has the flat design that you are looking for as well as horizontal slats that accommodate clamp-on accessories like bike racks, kayak carriers, or a roof top tent.
