Recommended Idler Hub That Uses Inner and Outer Bearing L44649 For Trailer W/ 13" Wheels
Question:
I have a used boat trailer single axle and I want to change the hubs and bearing in a complete kit BEFORE I have any issues down the road. The axle at the bearing location measures 1.05inch and the bearings are the same - inner and outer... They are L44649. I pulled them and they are the same as well as the axle diameter where the bearings ride... Will this kit work for me? I have 13inch wheels 5 x 4.5 . Thx

I have a different option for you, but the CE Smith Trailer Hub # CE13511 you were looking at uses inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649 so it will not fit your axle that uses inner and outer bearing # L44649.
Instead I recommend the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K which uses and includes inner and outer bearings # L44649, has the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern you are needing, and is rated for 13" - 15" wheels so your current wheels will work perfectly.
