I have a different option for you, but the Curt Bumper Mount Hitch # C19031 only fits trucks with a step bumper and as such will not fit your 2008 Lincoln Town Car.

Instead you will need to go with the Curt # 13707 which is designed for your vehicle and will be perfect for carrying two bikes with a bike rack thanks to the 400lb tongue weight rating of this hitch.

If you do not already have a bike rack I recommend going with the Yakima RidgeBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02457 which will fit this hitch and your vehicle perfectly allowing you to carry two bikes weighing up to 40lbs each.

I do recommend adding the Yakima HandCuff Cable Lock # Y02466 to secure your bikes to the bike rack.
