Please Compare the Curt Q25 # C16049 and the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 for My 2021 Ram 3500

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 8 foot bed with OEM Prep Package. I need a fifth wheel hitch and am interested in Curt Q25 or B&W Companion. Can you compare the two 5th wheel hitches and which would be best for my truck?

Both the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 24,000 lbs # C16049 and B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs
# BWRVK3600 are very good fifth wheel hitches that will fit your 2021 Ram 3500 with 8' bed and OEM Prep Package.
The B&W Companion has a fully articulating head that that pivots front-to-back and side-to-side that eases hook-up and limits chucking. The Curt Q25 has 360° articulation, meaning the head will move 360° not just front-to-back and side-to-side.
The B&W Companion is made of powder coated steel that is rust resistant. The Curt Q25 has a carbide powder coat finish to resist rust.
Both hitches have dual locking jaws, though the B&W has a 1-inch thick dual jaw. The vertical load limit for each is 6250 lbs; the gross trailer weight is 24,000 lbs for the Curt and 25,000 lbs for the B&W. Both hitches are easily removable from your bed with the 2-piece hitch assemblies they each have.
The Curt Q25 does have a 3-point indicator system that will tell if the hitch is ready to couple, uncouple or tow. This is visible from the cab so you can see if the hitch is ready to go.
While both of these are very good hitches, I would recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600. The B&W has been one of the best 5th wheel hitches on the market for quite a while and the inch thick dual jaws to give you more security for your king pin connection makes the difference for me.
