Will Carr Side Steps CARR103991 Fit 1984 Chevy C20 With Saddle Tank
Question:
Hello Will these mount up on my truck? Do I need to tanks on both sides to do? Seems fuel tanks come up to mid way of door. So to mount bracket looks like would have to remove to install?

I checked with the manufacturer, and the Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps - Hoop II - Black Powder Coated Aluminum - 7" Step - 1 Pair # CARR103991 are not a fit if you have the saddle style tanks on the side of your 1984 Chevy C20.
There isn't an option for steps that will fit with saddle tanks on your Chevy, so like you mentioned, you would indeed have to remove the tanks if you wanted to install the Carr Side Steps # CARR103991.
