Is it Worth Installing a Trailer Hitch and Wiring to Tow Once with a 2019 Lexus RX 350

Question:

You had a thorough answer for the question of towing by a 2019 RX350. I have same vehicle but only want to tow ONE TIME on an 600 mile trip from Jefferson City, MO to Dallas. Any suggestions???

In all honesty I believe it's still worth using the parts listed below to tow with your 2019 Lexus RX 350. Basically even if you only plan on towing once, having these installed on the vehicle will keep the door opened for you to tow or use a bike rack/cargo carrier in the future if need be (see attached link with all of these options), plus it means that you're adding value to your vehicle so you might be able to get a few extra bucks if you ever sell or trade-in your RX 350.

If you absolutely don't want to install anything on your vehicle then the next thing that I can think of is to rent a moving truck and a trailer to load your RX 350 on. This way you have the room to transport whatever cargo you need, plus you'll have your vehicle down in Dallas when you reach your destination.
