Question:
When measuring the factory steps on my 2013 Keystone Laredo 329 RE, I definitely need the 27inch wide assembly. My question is whether I need 3 steps or 4. The height of the mounting bracket is 33inch when level on a concrete pad. I believe that the range for the 3 step meets that need, but also notice that the 4 step includes a 32 1/2inch height as the lowest dimension. Would it be wise to get the 4 step model for those cases where we are not on a cement pad and the ground slopes away from the camper? I dont want the extra step if unnecessary, but also dont want to be maxed out and have to block the steps beyond the extension of the ground pads. Thank you!

As you have identified, the entry height of the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear, # TLA8003 for three steps, and # TLA8004 for four steps, overlap in their application specs. The # TLA8003 is for entry height of 25-1/2" - 36" with # TLA8004 for 32-1/2" - 44". Please note that each of theses options has independently adjustable landing gear on the bottom step. These feet will adjust a full 3" for height and there is also a low, medium and high point setting for the top step placement. Please view the linked video for a visual of these settings. With these features considered, I would select the # TLA8003 for entry height of 25-1/2" - 36" if primarily setting up on a concrete pad or at least fairly level terrain when using the RV. If your locations tend toward the uneven terrain more often than not then the I suggest the # TLA8004 option for your identified height of 33".
