Question:
I already have a BOLT lock for my hitch pin and would like to use BOLT for 1. locking my bikes and 2. locking the bike rack to the car while I am riding. My question is: is the rung on the Curt rack wide enough that the loop, from any of the non locking cables you stock, able to pass through the rung. If so, I could then get a cable and a BOLT padlock. This will allow me to lock the bikes through the rung on the rack. Then, when I am riding, fasten the cable from the rung to the hitch safety chain loops. This method will allow me to use the included anti-wobble hitch pin and still have a lock for bikes and rack with the BOLT lock.

The rung on the back of the Curt Premium 5 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Tilting # C18065 has a 1-1/4" x 1" gap and will easily allow for a cable lock like the BOLT Coiled Cable Lock # BL7018452 to allow you to lock the bikes and the rack to the hitch via the safety chain loops.
