The Lock N Roll Articulating Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler item # 336TS528 works great for both highway and off-road applications. This coupler has a 6,000 lbs gross trailer weight so it will be more than capable of handling your 3,500 lbs two wheel camper trailer at highway speeds.
I recommend the Lock N Roll Articulating Trailer Hitch item # 336VS501. This is the vehicle side 2" Receiver and it is rated for up to 11,000 lbs.
