Ramps for Race Car Trailer for Car with 3.5 inch Ground Clearance

Question:

Hi, Im trying to determine the appropriate ramps to purchase for my situation. I have a barn door 24foot trailer that I intend to load my racecar into. The trailer floor is approximately 19.5inch from the ground. The car has roughly 3.5inch of ground clearance and a wheelbase of 107. According to online calculators, roughly 12-14foot of ramp should accommodate the car. First question, does that sound correct? Second, my trailer has a flat floor and no hooks for a ramp. How do I secure the ramps to the trailer for loading/unloading? Third, do I need to be concerned that the entire length of the car will be supported by the ramps? IE, that the car will be held up by only the ground and the rear lip of the trailer? Is that problematic? Fourth, would part # GH34FR be appropriate? Should I be looking at something different? Or perhaps a combination of ramps? Thank you for your help! -

Yes I would say a 12-14 foot long ramp would work great for a vehicle with 3.5 inches of ground clearance and trailer height of 19.5 inches like the part # GH34FR which is 14 feet long. Since your trailer does not have a lip for a ramp set your best option would be to install a trailer ramp channel at the rear of it which at this time we do not carry.

It would not be an issue for the full weight of your vehicle to be on these ramps. The # GH34FR would work great for you.
