Question:
I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and I'm needing a roof rack. I want something that's as quiet as possible when I'm not carrying kayaks on the rack. What do you suggest? My 1500 isn't the Classic...

For a more quiet roof rack, you'll want to avoid square bars or crossbars with a round profile.
I'd recommend a Yakima CoreBar roof rack, which would consist of the following parts:
• Yakima 70 Inch CoreBar crossbars, part # Y00423
• Yakima BaseLine roof rack towers, part # Y00146
• Yakima vehicle specific fit clips, part # Y06135
At only 1 inch thick and 2-3/4 inches wide, the CoreBar crossbars are compatible with most roof rack kayak carriers, as long as they haven't been designed to work exclusively with square or round profile crossbars. If you find you need a new kayak carrier that's compatible with the roof rack, you can't go wrong with the Yakima JayHook, part # Y04084. The JayHook can handle kayaks weighing up to 80 lbs each and includes the straps used to secure the kayaks to the rack as well as the bow/stern tie-downs.
I've linked to product videos for the rack and the kayak carrier I recommended.
