Am I able to use a weight distribuion kit when towing with my 2022 Ascent?

The only time that you can't use a weight distribution system (WDS) is if the vehicle owner's manual says not to or if the trailer hitch isn't rated for it. When I looked at the online owner's manual for your 2022 Subaru Ascent I didn't see any warnings or notes anywhere about using/not using a WDS so you should be good to go, but it is a good idea to verify this on your end.
It looks like you're Ascent can tow a max of 2,000 lbs to upwards of 5,000 lbs depending on if you have the air-cooled continuously variable transmission cooler. For a trailer in that range you should be able to use a WDS like the Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU36FR which has a tongue weight range of 200 lbs - 600 lbs. If your loaded trailer tongue plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Ascent is above the 600 lbs then you'll need to upgrade to part # BLU47FR instead.
