I have the perfect solution for you.
With a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack like the Universal # RR42114BF, you can use the Rhino-Rack Carrier Brackets # RR43159 to mount the Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier # RR572. We actually have this setup as one part number with # RR572-43159 as well.
