The Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit # C16424-104 is designed to fit the 2011 to 2016 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks. I checked with Curt and, unfortunately, they currently do not have a kit available to fit the 5-1/2 foot option for your F-150. However, I do have another American made option that will suit your needs.

The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # BWRVK2404 is, again, made in the USA and is compatible with B&W Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley above-bed 5th-wheel hitches. This is also designed to be used with the 5-1/2 foot bed and will be the best option we currently have available for your 2014 Ford F-150.

It should also be noted that towing a 5th wheel with a truck that has a 5-1/2 foot bed does require a few things. Though this is a short bed, you do not want to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch. This is due to limited clearance in the bed and will cause the back end of a king pin to damage the tailgate and also move the weight too far past the rear axle. What you will need to do, if you do not already have a similar set up, Is go with a fixed hitch, like the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3200. This will then allow you to use a rotating pin box, also referred to as a sidewinder.

There are quite a few different options and pin box numbers out there, so the Reese 5th Airborne # RP61422, as an example, may be a good option. This fits quite a few different pin box numbers with the Lippert 1621 being the most common. To get this to rotate properly, you will need the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06, which will complete the package and get you on your way.
