Compare SportRack Ridge Swing # SR2415 Vs. Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack # Y02465
Question:
I have a 2022 Toyota Sienna on order. Im looking to replace my Yakima tilt down bike rack with a swing out rack to better access the rear hatch. All my other accessories are Yakima roof rails, cargo box, roof bike racks, ski rack, etc.. What are the differences between this SportRack swing out bike rack and the comparable Yakima? This is cheaper so it seems like a good option, but I wanted to understand the differences before deciding. Thanks!

The SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging # SR2415 and the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging # Y02465 are very similar bike racks that will both allow access to the cargo area of your 2022 Toyota Sienna.
The biggest difference in the two is the Yakima has a weight capacity of 160 lbs while the SportRack has a 140 lb weight capacity.
The other thing to consider is how often you will be using the bike rack. If you will use it every weekend, then I would choose the Yakima FullSwing as it is sturdier than the SportRack Ridge Swing. If you will be using it monthly, or just occassionally, the SportRack would be the good, economical choice.
If you need a trailer hitch for your 2022 Toyota Sienna, we have the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT55MR. This has a 2" receiver that both of these bike racks would require and has a weight capacity above what you would need with your bike racks loaded with 4 bikes.
