Question:
I want to put two kayaks with Thule Glide and set racks on a thule bar with an outrigger. I would like it to fit a 2007 ford explorer and a 2010 ford escape? Both have rails. Will this work?

You can use the same Evo raised rail feet, part # TH710401, from Thule to fit the SquareBars on both your 2010 Ford Escape and 2007 Ford Explorer. However, they do need different length SquareBars; use the 43 inch bars, part # TH712100, for the Escape and the 47 inch bars, part # TH712200, for the Explorer.
Then you can use the lock cores, part # TH450400, on the feet.
As long as the weight of both kayaks remains under the weight capacity of your vehicles roofs and the widths of the kayaks do not extend too far outward from the SUVs, you could certainly use the longer crossbars to carry your kayaks.
