Recommended Vent Replacement For A 1976 Prowler Camper

Question:

Good afternoon! I have a 1976 prowler camper. It had a fan/vent in the bathroom and one other one near the front of the camper. They measure 14 square in the inside of them. Do you know witch ones I would need to replace these vents? I am thinking of putting the fans in both vents. Thanks

The 14" measurement you got is actually pretty standard, so that will make finding replacements a lot easier. I have three options listed out below for you to check out.

First is the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Powered Lift # MA00-03851. This is a powered lift vent with a fan and will fit roofs that are 1 inch thick, up to 4-1/2 inches thick, so it's adaptable. The price on this one also makes it kind of hard to beat.

Next we have the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift # V3094-603-00C. This is a more standard design, but it does not include the garnish piece, like the # VA0445-35 2-7/8" to 4" thick roof as an example, so you will need to measure the thickness of your roof and it will be a separate part. These are very nice and are American made, but the # MA00-03851 has it beat in my opinion and will be my recommendation if you decide to go with a fan..

Lastly, the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 will be all manual and without a fan. This will be just a basic replacement, but does include the garnish piece and will fit a roof that is 1-7/8 to 3 inches thick. This is also American made, so if you decide not to go with fans, I recommend going with this guy.
