For your 2022 Ram 2500 with an 8' bed and OEM prep package I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3600. This hitch features 1" thick dual jaws for 360 degree contact and a fully articulating head. It uses a cam-action latching handle to prevent binding and make it easy to release on uneven terrain. It has a gross towing weight of 25,000 lbs and vertical load limit of 6,250 lbs. All B&W products are made in the USA.
If you need 5th wheel wiring, I recommend the Curt # C56070. This plugs in line with the 7-way at the back of your truck and will provide you with a 7-way connection for your 5th wheel in your truck bed.
