There is a sliding hitch available, however there really wouldn't be any need to use a sliding hitch in the 8' bed of your 2021 Ram 3500. The sliding hitches are designed to provide turning clearance when used in a short/standard bed and would just be a bigger/heavier hitch than a fixed mounted hitch. That being said, you can use a sliding hitch in your 8' bed. A hitch such as the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider # C16536 will work for your truck. You would need to get the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # C16022 if you have the OEM puck system or the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ram # C16430-204 if you do not have the OEM system and do not have industry standard rails already in your truck. Those adapters/rails would be what the Curt Q20 uses to mount into your Ram's bed.

If you do not have the factory 7-way in your truck bed already you can use the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56000 which will allow you to move your 7-way connector up into the bed of your truck for easier hook up, while also retaining use of your factory 7-way at the rear of your truck.
