Question:
Hello, I have an atlas enclosed trailer. It has a single 3000lb torsion axle. It looks like the tire is close to touching the fender. I would also like a little more height out of the bottom of the trailer so it drags less. Would upgrading to a 5000lb or 7000lb axle help me?

We don't have any torsion axles but sometimes you can go with a different angle torsion axle to gain more height. A common change is to go from a 10 degree down to a 45 degree down to gain a couple inches.
What brand axles do you have? We may also have a lift kit as well.
Question:
It's a Dexter axle.

Since you have a Dexter 3,000 lb torsion axle the correct lift kit you'd need is the part # K71-707-01.
Torflex Lift Kit - Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift
Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - E-Z Lube - 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 95" - 5,200 lbs
