Complete Roof Rack with Cargo Carrier and One-Key System for a 2016 Kia Sedona

Question:

Looking to outfit a full roof rack, rails and cargo carrier. The podium feet TH460R dont come with locks but the box TH615 does. If I buy 4 locks for the feet can I ensure that the same key will work for the box and feet?

A complete roof rack like the 2016 Kia Sedona Roof Rack by Thule would consist of crossbars like the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 which would use Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH460R and Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet # THKIT4057 to attach to your Sedona and support the crossbars. The Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400 (you asked about) would then be used to secure the roof rack to your vehicle.

The Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box # TH615 will work great with that roof rack. But you will want to get the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450600 because it will come with 6 lock cylinders opposed to the 4 that the # TH450400 comes with. This would give you the 4 needed for the roof rack and the 1 needed for the cargo box to ensure that they are keyed alike. The cargo box does come with a One-key lock already in place, but to ensure that they are all keyed alike you will want to get the 6 pack and switch out the lock on the box. The # TH450600 does come with a universal master key that will allow you to remove the lock on the cargo box and replace it with the new one. Keep in mind that you will have 1 key leftover from the 6 pack, this will come in handy if you ever add another Thule One-key compatible product.
