Compatible Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver For A 2022 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid
Question:
Does either the Curt or Draw tite Class 3 hitch work for the 2022 Hyundai Tuscon Plug-in Hybrd? I think it says all styles, just wanted to know for sure.

Both the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C94WR and Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT22MR are confirmed to fit all models of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. Both hitches have a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500lbs and maximum tongue weight capacity of 525lbs. The only real difference between the two is that Curt manufactures their hitches in the US and are known to have a much stronger and reliable powder coating than their competitors to resist rust and corrosion. Because of the powder coating sustainability of the # C94WR I would choose it over the # DT22MR.
If you don't already have the trailer wiring harness and 4-wire plug connector then you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # CU94FR. This T-Connector plugs directly into existing wiring with no cutting, splicing or tapping required. The powered Converter reduces strain on wiring system. I've attached a video of a similar vehicle to walk you through the steps of installing this wiring harness if you choose to do it yourself.
I also recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500lbs # 989900 as it comes with a 1-7/8" Ball and 2" Ball and offers a drop of 2" or 4" and a rise of 1" or 3" to help you tow multiple different trailers or other ball mounted accessories.
