Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2022 Subaru Outback
Question:
I have a 2022 Subaru Outback. What parts are needed so I can tow a small utility trailer? I'll need a trailer hitch and wiring for the trailer lights, but what else will I need?

Let's begin with the hitch. Although the # DT73RR hitch you'd already looked at would fit, the entire hitch would be visible from the rear. If that doesn't bother you, the hitch would be a fine choice.
For a trailer wiring harness, use part # 118467, for a ball mount, use # 2753 and for a trailer ball use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
