Replacing A Coleman RV Air Conditioner With A Furrion RV Air Conditioner

Question:

I had a shop replace colman mach with 15500 furrion and kept the control and thermostate * model # 8330-752 , the furnace works but seems to have but one speed on air I think low My thermostate has 6 wires with low fan, high fan, low cool, high cool, high auto cool, low auto cool and furnace heat. Is it wired wrong or do I need a new thermostate? Not sure of diff btn auto settings and regular low and high cool? THANK YOU

Since the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV is only replacing the rooftop unit and connecting to the distribution box with an adapter you should not have lost any functionality with your thermostat. There wouldn't have been any changes to the wiring of your thermostat. If you have lost functionality I would first check to ensure that the adapter cable is properly attached to the unit and to the distribution box.

If you wanted to replace the thermostat you would also have to replace the distribution box and controller as well for each piece to be able to properly communicate. You can do this with the Replacement Wall Thermostat for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner # FR33PR, Replacement Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner # FACT12SA-PS, and Replacement Single Zone Controller for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner Setup # FACC12SA-BL.
