Question:
What hitch and wiring connector do I need to install on my 2021 RAV4? Does it make a difference if I have a hybrid because I do. I'm planning on using the Yakima exo swing away single cargo box and install that wiring kit for the rear lights and license plate to stay legal. Thank you!

For a trailer hitch and wiring on your 2021 Toyota RAV4 I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR because of the matte black finish that is stronger and blends in better with the trim on your vehicle, and then the Curt Wiring # C56434 because we know it is reliable and will last a long time. These fit all models of the 2021 RAV4 so you having a hybrid won't affect the fit as you can see in the attached install videos and photos.
I also recommend picking up the mounting brackets # 18144 and # C57202 as well as the Gasket Maker # LT37467 so that you can have the 4-Way connector mounted next to your hitch receiver for easy access.
These will work perfect with your Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR with the Light Kit # Y74VR.
