I recommend installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98840 and using a Tekonsha wiring kit, part # 118760 for a 4-Way or part # 118286 for a 7-Way, on your 2022 Honda Pilot.

I really like the etrailer hitches because they have a matte black finish that not only matches your vehicle better, but it does a great job at hiding any scratches that might occur from road debris. The Tekonsha wiring is the most reliable on the market which is why I recommend their products. You can secure either of the connectors next to your hitch receiver using the No-Drill Bracket # C57202.
