What Would A Tow Package For My 2015 Jeep Compass Look Like
Question:
Do you install a complete tow package for a 2015 jeep compass?

Yes, this is something we could do. If you want to set up your 2015 Jeep Compass for towing you will need the following items; a hitch receiver, a 4-way connector, a 7-way connector, and a brake controller. Here are my recommended parts for your tow package.
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 75712
T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part # 118539
Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional, part # RED44FR
Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires, part # ETBC7
With this system installed you will be able to tow trailers that have 4-way and 7-way connectors. This Class III hitch receiver has a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs and a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. I recommended a proportional braking system. This will provide your trailer with the same amount of braking force you apply in the tow vehicle.
I have included Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz., part # 11755, because it will help reduce rust and corrosion in your wiring system. There are product description links, installation video links, and video demo links below.
