Recommended Trailer Wiring For A BMW i3

Question:

Thanks for the universal direction to the BMW i3. In Patrick's response, the video tagged is for an x5 not an i3. Is the concept the same for both models? Or was the incorrect video tagged here?

Tekonsha's Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119190 is a universal part and will work on most any vehicle. Though the install video we have for a BMW is on an X5, it will be much the same as what you will need to do to get it installed on your i3. In that video, they also use the ModuLite Installation Wiring Kit # 118151, which I do recommend as it has everything you need to get the wire run up to the battery properly.
