It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 750 lbs and is also compatible with weight distribution should you wish to use it in the future. The matte black powder coat finish helps to hide dirt and dings when compared to a glossy finish. This hitch is made in the USA.

For wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR. This plugs into your existing port, providing you with a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.

If you need a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a great choice that gives you options. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop.
