Question:
I have a 2015 keystone cougar mks333 fifth wheel. The door hasa shock absorber so that it wont open fully. Will that shock absorber get in the way of mounting the quad steps model 791575? Thank you

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 29" to 36" Wide RV Door Frames, # LC791575 requires that the door open to at least 90 degrees for the steps to deploy. This set of steps is for an entry height of 35" - 44" and a doorway width of 29" - 36".
If your door will not open the required minimum due to restrictions from the entry door gas shock, I suggest you consider replacing it with one that has a longer reach. To determine the correct replacement. all you have to do is measure your current shock's retracted and extended length for a base starting point. Find something with similar closed/compressed length but a longer reach/extension length. Please note the attached link below for selection of available parts.
