Bike Rack Recommendation for e-Bikes on 2021 Ford Bronco with Spare Tire on Door
Question:
Hi I have a 2021 ford bronco with a spare at the back. From the hitch to the exterior of the spare is 12. I have to carry 2 ebikes which is 100 pounds for both. What do you recommend?! Thx I need an extender plus a good rack

I recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # BA22B which will work for your e-Bikes as long as they don't have a front fender. This is easily one of my favorite bike racks because Kuat has thought of everything when it comes to ease-of-use and adjustability, you can even get the Ramp Add-On # ANVBRB to make loading your bikes much easier.
The NV 2.0 measures 11-3/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. If you were to add the Kuat Hi-Lo Hitch Extender # HL20B into the equation then that gives you an extra 7" or 10" of space to clear your spare tire. If you wanted to be able to swing the bike rack away so you can access your rear cargo area then you can use the Pivot 2 Swing Away # PVP20B instead.
If your e-Bikes do have fenders then you can use the Yakima OnRamp # Y36FR instead. This sits closer to the vehicle but you will still have plenty of clearance with the extender or swing away options mentioned above.
Attached are review videos for you to check out.
