Curt Front Hitch for 2009 Chevy 3500 HD 4x4
Question:
Which hitch will fit our 2009 Chevy 3500 HD 4x4? We will use a cargo carrier for a generator and gas can.

There is a Curt front mount hitch that will work on your 2009 Chevy Silverado, but the Curt Hitch # 31322 that you referenced is only for 1500 model trucks.
You would want a Curt Front Hitch # 31109. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product for you to check out also. This hitch has a 500 lb vertical load limit so it should do well to carry a generator and cargo carrier as long as the combined weight is less than that.
