Replacement Option for Torsion Axles
Im trying to replace a torsion trailer axel on a 10 Aluma snowmobile trailer. Unfortunately the model number and serial number are wore off. I do have the outside bracket measurements 5, but not the hub face since it is still on the trailer. I would like to replace everything associated with the axel other than the wheels. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks

I do have an option for you, but we do not carry torsion axles so I would not be able to help you with torsion axle parts. That being said, you can switch to an axle-less set-up using the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S05.
To determine which exact model Timbren Axle-Less you will need you will need to determine the axle rating of the axle on your trailer. Since you said your axle tag is worn off you can do this by using the GVWR of the trailer to give you a good idea of what axle you have. Or, if you know the model number of the trailer itself you may be able to find the ratings.
The # ASR3500S05 is a 3,500 lb. system. With the axle-less system you will not need to get leaf springs, hangers and u-bolts. The # ASR3500S05 fits any frame width and uses AEON progressive-rate main springs to absorb road shock and support the trailer's load. The axle-less system will work with the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # DX98XR which provides you with 5 on 4-1/2" hubs fitting wheels 13" to 15".
