Can The Reese RP45018 Extension Be Used To Flat Tow A Jeep Wrangler Behind A 2021 Ford F-350?

I have a 2021 F-350 DRW carrying a Palomino 2910 truck camper and we are looking to to our Jeep Wrangler unlimited occasionally , it weighs out at 4200 lbs. , it will be towed all 4 on the ground using a Roadmaster Falcon all-terrain and a Stay-n-play braking system, I am looking at Reese Titan #RP45018 that will be cut at the 41inch length and tension chained to the factory hitch , will this work safely or is there something else that would be a better option ?

As you Jeep Wrangler weighs 4,200 pounds and you will be using the Reese Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45018 at the 41" length, there will be no issues using it on your 2021 Ford F-350. You are getting pretty close to the 5,000 pound max capacity though, so I do not recommend adding any extra weight to the Jeep when you are towing it.

With that said, I do recommend a couple add on parts to go with this. The Curt # C87UR (for 2-1/2" hitch) and # C27UR (for 2" hitch) anti rattle devices will keep both the # RP45018 extension and the tow bars securely in place and free from movement. With how long this is and how much potential movement there can be, they are highly recommended.

The only other option would be to remove your factory hitch and then install the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1008-30. This will allow you to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1548. Though these are very nice and heavy duty, it does look like it would be a bit overkill for what you need to do and it is on the expensive side.
