How To Convert 4-Way On 2014 Honda Pilot Into 7-Way with Brake Controller
Question:
I own a 2014 Honda pilot 4WD. I have the OEM trailer kit in the side body. I have a 4-pin connection for now. I was wondering if the grey connector is no longer there, is there a replacement part or a different harness to do the job? i watch the video and great job by the way! And while asking a question, could you refer me please to the best overall brake controller also? Have a great one,

In order to add a 7-way trailer connector to a 2014 Honda Pilot with 4-way trailer connector you simply need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118265 which is plug and play. This harness will use the same connector as the factory harness, you're essentially just replacing one harness with another, there isn't a different plug for a 4-way and 7-way.
For a brake controller, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller part # RED24FR is hard to beat due to the hidden design and it can be installed easily without splicing using the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness part # RED59FR.
