Do I Have to Pull My Slide-outs in When Greasing my 5th Wheel Trailers Axle/Bearings

Question:

When using the grease gun to add grease to my fifth wheel dexter axle it says to rotate the tire. Can I do this with the slides out.

When using a grease gun like the # L30200 and grease like the # L11390 to grease the axle/bearings on your 5th wheel you technically don't have to pull your slide-outs in. But, I highly recommend that you do. You are going to have jack your 5th wheel trailer up to be able to spin the hubs as needed when greasing. Having your slides out is going to change the balance of your trailer and the risk of the 5th wheel trailer falling is not one that I would take.
