I installed your Curt hitch C13144 on my 2017 Subaru Forester. I decided that it is time to upgrade to a new 2021 Forester, will the same hitch fit on my new Forester?

For your 2021 Subaru Forester you will need to get the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13409. The Forester was redone for the 2019 model year and your Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13144 will only fit the 2014-2018 model years. The new hitch will have the same 525lb max tongue weight rating and trailer weight rating of 3,500lbs. Be sure to not exceed any lower ratings given by Subaru for your specific Forester.
If you installed a custom fit 4-way harness like the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 it can be transferred to your new 2021 Forester. This harness will fit the 2009-2021 model years.
