Recommended Solar Panel For 10 Amp Solar Port
Question:
What solar panel would you recommend for a 2020 Coleman Lantern travel trailer? We dry camp often and get about 24 hours from our 12v battery before we run the generator to charge it. Dont run any heavy usage applainces other than water pump, fridge, interior lights at night maybe the stereo. It has a port for a 10 watt? or is it amp? solar panel connection. Im looking to keep the battery topped off without having to run the generator daily. Thanks

Since you have a 10 amp solar port, you'll want a portable solar panel designed for it, as you won't want to exceed that input current on your port. So the best option for that is a 130 watt panel from Go Power:
- Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller - 130 Watt Solar Panel # 34282730
The Go Power # 34282730 is really simple to use, plugging into your port, and you can then position it wherever you like to get the maximum amount of sunlight. It comes with a 12 foot cable, but if you feel like you may need it, there is a 30 foot extension, the Extension Cable for Go Power Portable Solar Kit # 34270356.
