Hitch Head Height of Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch On 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 with Pucks

Question:

I realize it state 15 1/4inch on lowest setting but I want to confirm that its actually 15 1/4inch while sitting on puck system adapter. Im looking for a hitch height of roughly 15inch as I measure from my truck bed too the top of the 5th wheel hitch if it is 15.25inch while on the adapter plate Im certainly sold on this item.

In order to use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550035 on a 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 6-3/4 Foot Bed with OEM Prep Pkg you'll also need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package part # DM6333. The hitch head height of the Demco Hijacker is 15-1/4", 16-1/2", and 18" but you'll need to add 2" while using the adapter to each of these.

I do have an option for you to get the trailer level but you won't likely find a fifth wheel hitch that uses the pucks with a hitch head height around 15". Therefore, you'll need to raise the trailer with a lift kit like the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit part # RR23QX or part # RR55QX as it's really your only choice. This is a pretty common thing to do today with trucks getting taller and taller.
