Question:
I have a utility trailer 4.5 ft wide and about ten feet long. I would like to carry 4 bikes up front and other vacation stuff behind the bikes in the rear. I am not sure this this system adjusts for the width of my trailer. Also, is it a fork mount where the front wheels have to come off? Do you have more picures to show how bikes fit and how system is installed?

The Topline truck bed bike carrier # UG2500-4 is intended for mounting to the bed rails of a pickup truck. The biggest issue you are going to have when trying to install the TopLine 4 Bike Carrier to a utility trailer is adapting the mounting clamps.
The U-shape clamps measure 2-3/4 inches from top to bottom and the base of the U is 1-1/2 inches. I have sent you a separate e-mail with the installation directions attached. If you have a railing on your utility trailer, it is possible that this system can work. However, you will have to take measurements of the railing to see if it is compatible the clamps. When using this TopLine system, you will not have to remove your front tire.
The other viable solution that would work on a utility trailer is the fork mount option. For example, the Yakima BlockHead Bolt-On # Y01117 fork mounted bike rack could work on your trailer. I have the installation instructions attached as well.
I also have attached a page showing all of your available choices in this type of cost effective carrier.
